Inland Revenue's major transformation programme is making tax simpler, more open and more certain for New Zealanders and transforming the way we do business. This involves, how we do things, the ways we work and the way we're organised across the whole of Inland Revenue.

The Transition Support Service (TSS) team has been set up to provide fit-for-purpose design, change and transition expertise and services to business areas. Our focus is to build a change management practice and team with a reputation for delivering high quality customer and people centred change, that is easy to work with, listens to its customers, and understands what is needed to successfully design, deliver and embed change.

We have an opportunity for a Team Manager to lead, manage and build the capability of the TSS ?delivery team' providing high quality change management and transition services, advice, support and expertise. The core capabilities of the team are in the areas of change, HR, communications, analysis, planning and reporting.

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:

Developing and managing a responsive and effective ?service-focused&# 039; delivery practice, ideally as an internal service provider
Leading, developing and coaching direct reports to effectively meet targets in a challenging and ever-changing environment
Managing a programme of change and transition activity and/or changeprojects
Overseeing the implementation of robust change and transition plans, applying effective resource management and workforce management skills with the right level of capacity and capability at the right time to deliver to customer expectations
Demonstrate a strong customer focus and passion to create and sustaina culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
Bring excellent relationship and engagement skills and the ability to positively contribute to the Broader People and Culture Leadership Team.
